Connecting AMS 2 Pro to a P1S or X1-series printer
Printing and drying have different power requirements. For X1/P1-series printers, each AMS 2 Pro needs an official Bambu Lab Switching Adapter to power its drying function. The connection also requires the appropriate cables and filament buffer or AMS hub for your setup.
Choose the right setup
Check Bambu Lab's current connection and firmware instructions for your exact printer, including A1-series and multi-unit installations. A printer's ability to feed filament does not by itself mean it can power the dryer. Follow the official AMS 2 Pro manual for installation and operating guidance.
